SCARBOROUGH – Peter J. Dumas passed away Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, while hiking with his wife in the mountains of Western Maine. Peter was doing what he loved to do.
He was born in 1955 in Rangeley, and graduated from Rangeley High School and the University Of Maine at Orono where he was a member of the men’s alpine ski team and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He made the most of the past three years by hunting, fishing, skiing, mountain biking and traveling, as well as serving on the Board of Trustees at CVA.
Peter is survived by his wife, Deborah; his son, Sergeant Andrew Dumas and wife, Julia, of Savannah, Ga.; and his daughter, Erin Dumas of Togo, West Africa. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends: too many to list.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
