PATTEN – Pauline (Harvey) McManus, 86, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2014, with her husband of 67 years at her side. She was born in Patten, on February 15, 1927, to Cassie (Tompkins) and Boardman Harvey.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband, Richard; and three children, Marilyn Collins, Brian McManus, and Anne McManus-Grant (Scott). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Katrina Main-Dorsky (James), D’arcy Main-Boyington (Daryl), Richard Main, Eric McManus, Alexander Grant, and Claire Grant; and great-grandchildren, Aaron Ellis (Nicole), Matthew Muwin, Jed Boyington, and Reid McManus. Pauline was the middle child of a large family. She is survived by one sister, Alice Stanford of Harwich, Mass.; and three brothers, Robert (Joyce), Wallace, and Keith (Esther), all of Patten; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Mahlon (Bud), Wendell, Boardman Jr., Gordon, Richard, and Waldo; and by two sisters, Elizabeth (Boynton) and Joan Harvey.
A celebration of Pauline’s life will be held 2 p.m. February 15, at the Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church in Patten.
