ST. GEORGE, Maine — The St. George Select Board has agreed to extend the town manager’s contract for three more years.

The board voted unanimously on Jan. 6 to grant a three-year extension to John Falla.

Falla has been town manager for St. George since March 1987. The extension will bring his length of service to 30 years.

The board also voted 4-1 to approve a 3 percent pay raise for the upcoming year, bringing Falla’s pay to about $82,000.
