ROCKLAND, Maine — A 36-year-old Warren man on probation for a drug conviction was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with trafficking oxycodone.
Scott Nason was arrested following an investigation into complaints that he was selling the drug in Warren and Waldoboro, said James Pease, supervisor with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
MDEA agents made some controlled buys of the drug during the investigation, Pease said.
Nason was convicted in December 2011 of trafficking in heroin and sentenced to four years in prison with all but nine months suspended. He also was sentenced to serve two years probation following his release.
Seventeen oxycodone pills were recovered at his home when he was arrested.
His sister Christy Nason, 39, of Warren also was charged with possession of oxycodone and was released on bail, Pease said.
Scott Nason was scheduled to make an initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon in Rockland District Court.
