4 connected to burglary indicted in Washington County

MACHIAS, Maine — A Washington County Superior Court grand jury has returned indictments against three men and a woman accused in connection with a burglary.

Whitney E. Conley, 20, of East Machias; Prentiss Harmon, 24, of Roque Bluffs; Keith B. Paquette, 27, of Machias; and Joshua G. Townsend, 20, of Marshfield; were indicted on one count each of burglary and two counts each of theft by unauthorized taking. Paquette additionally was indicted on one count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

The charges stem from an incident June 2 in Northfield. Details about the case were not immediately available.

The grand jury, which returned the indictments Monday, also issued indictments in two assault cases. Robert L. Allen, 47, of Cherryfield was charged with two counts of assault and one count of refusing to submit to arrest in connection with an Aug. 30 incident in Machias.

Delwyn M. Huntley, 42, of Cutler was charged with assault, eluding an officer, and driving to endanger for an incident reported Aug. 15 in Whitneyville.

Four other people also were indicted as follows:

Amy E. Ciarcia, 38, Steuben, criminal operating under the influence, operating on a revoked license, aggravated operating after habitual offender revocation.

Robert A. Holcomb, 70, Milbridge, marijuana cultivation, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Leslie C. Perry Jr., 32, Milbridge, operating on a revoked license, operating without a license.

Ronnie L. Reynolds, 53, Milbridge, violation of sex offender registration.
