George Fredrick King

NASHUA, N.H. – George Fredrick King, 52, passed away Jan. 7, 2014, in Eddington, surrounded by his family and dear friend, Peter, after a short battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 13, 1961, in Bangor, the son of Edward King of Florida and Carol (Blake) St. Peter of Old Town whom both recently predeceased him.
He was predeceased by his parents and by his wife, Denise King. Surviving are his sisters and brothers, Beverly Pawlendzio and husband, Frank, of Eddington, Heather Jo Melanson of Bangor, Edward King Jr. of Atlanta, and Mark King and wife, Sharon, of Florida; his daughter, Jessica Milligan and her husband, Jason, of Concord, N.H.; and a son, Jason Bryant and his girlfriend, Melissa, of Bangor; four grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews; special friend, Peter Currier; and a sister, Beverly, that was there for him till the end. Also, would like to thank his extended family at the Holiday Inn for taking such good care of him.
George was a simple hard working man that enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Jada, Kaleb, Kaitlyn, and Jacoby. He worked for Peter Currier and Son for years. After the loss of his wife, he moved to Nashua, N.H., to work for Oceans Properties as a maintenance supervisor until April 2013 when he was diagnosed with cancer. George loved spending time in Bar Harbor in the summer. He enjoyed Nascar, shopping, and boy did he love Hawaiian pizza. He will be missed.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Saturday, and 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, and 12, at his sister’s home, 29 Comins Lane, Eddington. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Saint Anns Catholic Church, 84 Main St., Bradley. A luncheon will be held afterward at 29 Comins Lane, Eddington.
