HANCOCK – “Willie”
William F. Campbell II, 52, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. This is a difficult but temporary loss for his family because we know we will see him again in eternity.
Willie was a gentle, faithful, generous man who could light up a room with his smile, laugh, and the twinkle in his eye. He cherished his bride of 28 years, Terri. Willie served his country in the U.S. Navy for 7 years, some of that time aboard the U.S.S. Independence. For the last 15 years Willie loved working at MCM Electric in Hall Quarry. Willie had a love and respect for his employers and co-workers which was evident to all who knew him. Willie will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.
Willie was predeceased by his mother, Agnes Campbell. He is survived by his wife Terri; his beloved son, Luke; his father, Donald Campbell; 4 brothers; 2 sisters, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Willie’s life will be held 1 pm., Monday, January 13, 2014 at Narrows Too Campground Event Center, 1150 Bar Harbor Rd, Trenton, with Pastor Steve Nute officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Willie’s honor may be made to the Mary Dow Center, C/O Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, 50 Union Street, Suite 3600, Ellsworth, ME 04605.
