LAGRANGE, Maine — A 74-year old man died Thursday morning after the tractor-trailer he was driving left Route 155, police said.
Lucien Dube of Enfield was headed westbound shortly before 4:30 a.m. when he had an apparent heart attack and went off the road, Maine State Police Trooper Adam Gould said.
Gould said Dube wasn’t responsive when he and Milo and Howland rescue workers arrived. He was pronounced dead at Eastern Maine Medical Center.
The trooper said Dube’s rig was empty at the time of the accident, but he was heading to the Millinocket area to pick up a load of logs.
The truck was not heavily damaged in the accident.
