BROWNVILLE JUNCTION – Marilyn G. Flagg, 82, wife of the late Paul Flagg, died Dec. 19, 2013, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Milo, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred (Williams) King.
Marilyn will be remembered for her many good deeds and her skilled needlework. She was a skilled quilt-maker and gifted many with the products of her talents.
Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Roberts and her husband, Edward, of Brownville Junction; sons, Phillip Flagg and his wife, Susan, of Hampden, Stephen Flagg of Brownville, Richard Flagg of Milo, and Darrell Flagg and his wife, Jennifer, of New York; a brother, Robert King and his wife, Eva, of Connecticut; a sister-in-law, Marilyn King of Winn; grandchildren, Theresa, Philip, Jeremy, Tabitha, Kevin, Dylan, Angelina and Kenjilyn; andseveral nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Paul, and her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Keene; brothers, Herbert and James; and grandson, Jason Flagg.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Those who wish to remember Marilyn in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Maine Veterans’ Home-Bangor, 44 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME 04401.
