ORONO, Maine — A bottle of liquor was stolen from Bell’s IGA on Dec. 12, and police are asking the public for help in identifying the person responsible

The suspected male left Bell’s IGA without paying for a bottle of Captain Morgan Rum, according to a press release issued Wednesday by Orono Police Chief Joshua Ewing. The male appears to be in his late teens to early 20s, with shaggy brown hair and sideburns. It is possible that he was with two other males at the time of the theft.

Anyone with information, call Officer Sarah Exley at 866-4000, or email exley@orono.org. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can contact the Orono Police Department at police.orono.org/crimewatch.
