Kendall Benjamin Howard

BLUE HILL – Kendall Benjamin Howard, 86, passed away peacefully Dec. 6, 2013, in Blue Hill, with his loving family by his side. He was born May 13, 1927, in Blue Hill, the son of Lionel and Effie (Cooper) Howard.

Kendall was stationed in Japan during World War II. He worked at the Page Farm in Bangor and worked for many years as a carpenter. His greatest passion was tending his farm and his cows during his final years. Kendall was a member of the Halcyon Grange No. 345 for many years. He was an amazing friend and loving neighbor to all and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Littlefield and husband, Glendon; his grandson, Robert Littlefield; a great-granddaughter, Destiny Littlefield; a sister, Ethel Cunningham; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife; five brothers; and five sisters.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Mountain View Cemetery, Blue Hill.
