Game notes: The Black Bears have dropped five straight and face a daunting challenge against the Huskies. UMaine is coming off Wednesday’s 81-72 loss at New Jersey Tech, while UConn edged Florida 65-64 on Monday. The Bears will be challenged against the Huskies’ athletic forwards and must contend with a group that is shooting 45 percent on 3-pointers.
