MEDWAY – Jean Michaud, 79, wife of the late James L. Michaud Sr., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at a Millinocket hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1934, in Ashland, the daughter of James J. and Annie M. (Moreau) Morrow.
Jean was an avid Red Sox fan, and enjoyed following politics. In years past, she enjoyed gardening. She raised a large family, and was always happy when there would be gatherings of them.
Jean is survived by six children, Jim Michaud Jr. and his wife, Donna, of Medway, Mike Michaud of East Millinocket, Jerry Michaud and Nancy of East Millinocket, Terry Michaud and his wife, Jodi, of Levant, Robert Michaud and his wife, Belinda, of Newfield, and Lynne Michaud of Lyman; 11 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Mike, Jimmy, Tara Jo, Jerry Jr., Chad, Kaci, Rachelle, Jason, Casey, and Steve; and 12 great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Garrett, Gavin, Evan, Dylan, Tyrell, Jazmin, Jaden, Alex, Tyler, Kaylee, and Natalie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will also be missed by a special friend, Maxine Small. In addition to her parents and her husband, Jean was predeceased by her siblings, Adeline MacPherson, Avis Naspinsky, George Burube, Irving Morrow, Elden Morrow, and Herman Morrow.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 4-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at Lamson Funeral Home, 17 Western Ave., East Millinocket. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 58 Cedar St., East Millinocket, with the Rev.
