Award-winning country band and family trio The Band Perry today announced the “We Are Pioneers World Tour,” their first worldwide headline arena tour in support of their album “Pioneer.” The tour will crisscross Europe for five weeks before the band jumps back to North America, which will include a Jan. 31 Waterfront Concerts event at the Cross Insurance Center. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Dec. 6, and are $33.75 and $53.75, and are available online at waterfrontconcerts.com or through Ticketmaster or the Cross Center box office. Opening for The Band Perry will be Easton Corbin and Lindsey Ell.

Since releasing their self-titled debut album on Republic Nashville in 2010, The Band Perry has found lots of success in the world of contemporary country music. Fronted by Kimberly Perry and rounded out by her younger brothers Reid and Neil, the band has notched a string of hit singles, including the quadruple-platinum “If I Die Young” (which climbed to number one on Billboard’s Country and AC charts), the platinum “You Lie,” and the gold-certified “All Your Life,” as well as the consecutive number one hits, “Better Dig Two” and “Done.” “Pioneer,” their second album, debuted at number one on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and number two on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart.

Other concerts at the Cross Insurance Center include another country show with Justin Moore, Josh Thompson and Randy House on March 7.
