BANGOR, Maine — A 46-year old local man who has been missing since last week has not been accounted for as of Monday morning, police said.

Bangor police Sgt. Cathy Rumsey said authorities are continuing to search for Cecil Worster after his family reported him missing on Thursday.

It is unknown where Worster may be or what he may be wearing, according to Rumsey. Worster is 5’8’’ tall, weighs 180 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Worster lives on Main Street near the Hampden town line, and Rumsey said his family is concerned about him.

Police believe Worster left home on foot. Anyone who has seen him or knows where he may be should call Bangor police at 947-7384.
