Woman reported missing in Greenbush after fight with husband returns home

By Judy Harrison, BDN Staff

GREENBUSH, Maine — A woman reported missing Friday night wasn’t really missing, a member of the Maine Warden Service said Saturday.

“There wasn’t much to it,” Sgt. Alan Gillis said. “It was a fight with her husband and she left the house for a while.”

Darcy Madden reportedly had left her house on foot Friday night, Maine State Police Trooper Larry Anderson confirmed just after 10 p.m. Friday. Rescue workers, including game wardens and state police, participated in the search for her.

Madden eventually returned home, Gillis said Saturday.

No charges have been filed in connection with the incident, the warden said.
