National Hospice Month

November is National Hospice Month and Hospice of Eastern Maine announced that its staff members are grateful to have the privilege to care for 150 patients and their family members each year.

Anyone with a terminal illness who has decided to stop seeking curative treatment may be eligible for hospice.

Hospice of Eastern Maine is Bangor’s oldest hospice and has been meeting the end-of-life needs in local communities since 1981. HOEM is part of Bangor Area Visiting Nurses and Eastern Maine HomeCare.
