HAMPDEN, Maine — The West boys and East girls each recorded lopsided victories during the Maine Soccer Coaches 19th Annual Senior Bowl Sunday at Hampden Academy.
The West boys beat the East 7-0 while the East girls beat the West 6-0.
Scorers for the West boys were Ibrahim Dahir of Portland and Sam Cekada of Scarborough, who both scored two goals. Kyle Fletcher of Monmouth Academy scored one goal along with one assist, and Griffin Drigotas of Kennebunk, and Matt DiAngelo each scored a goal.
Assists were notched by Jame Patchell of Bonny Eagle in Standish, Robby Burns of Kennebunk, Wyatt Omsberg of Scarborough, and Matt Crowley of Greely in Cumberland Center.
Goalkeepers for the West were Austin Kidder of North Yarmouth Academy, Howie Stone of Greenville, Will D’Agostino of Falmouth, and Charlie Mull of Cheverus in Portland.
‘Keepers for the East were Cody Lyford of Presque Isle, Steven Mahon of Ellsworth, Marshall Spear of Camden Hills, and Trevor Lyford of Penquis in Milo.
In the girls game, the East was led by Katey Curtis of Ellsworth, who tallied two goals, while Kaitlyn Saulter of Hermon and Anna Cowan of Brunswick had one goal and one assist.
Emily Smith of Bangor and Miranda NIcely of Mt. Blue in Farmington each had single tallies. Kory Norcross of Edward Little in Auburn contributed with two assists and Parise Rossignol of Van Buren assisted on one. ‘Keepers for the East were Samantha Bowler of Hampden Academy, Hannah Shaw of Mount Desert Island, and Andrea Quirion of Skowhegan.
The West ‘keepers were Kelly Pomerleau of St. Dominic in Auburn, Sydney Martin of Scarborough, and Savanna Kandiko of Madison.
