BANGOR, Maine — An “at risk” female Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center patient who was reported missing Tuesday afternoon has been located, a Maine State Police dispatcher confirmed Tuesday night.

The 47-year-old woman last was seen on Odlin Road at about 2 p.m. during a supervised outing. She was located about 8:30 p.m. and returned to the facility, according to police.

The woman’s temporary disappearance prompted a search by police and three volunteer search teams from the Down East Emergency Medical Institute.
