Game notes: The Black Bears receive their final preseason tuneup against Le Rouge et Or (the Red and Gold) from Quebec. UMaine continues to work on its on-court chemistry with a handful of newcomers trying to make the jump to Division I ball. Laval has the advantage of having played a dozen preseason contests, but is likely to face some challenges against UMaine’s big guards.
