Verve burrito joint opens in Bangor

Alex Demeus and David Cassidy, both of Orono, began waiting outside the new Verve restaurant in Bangor at 7 a.m. Both regularly eat at the Orono burrito shop and came out to show their support of the new location, with plans to order the El Presidente Burrito for breakfast when the new restaurant opened at 8 a.m.

Verve Burritos, owned by Abe and Heather Furth, serves burritos, quesadillas, salads, breakfast burritos and other quick Mexican treats 8 a.m.-8 p.m. seven days a week, at its 89 Main St. Bangor location.
