PITTSFIELD, Maine — A man dressed as a comic book character wound up in jail early Sunday morning for driving drunk, according to a Morning Sentinel report.

Dennis Lalime, 64, of Pittsfield was apparently dressed as “Batman” villain The Joker when he lost control of his vehicle on Crawford Road, according to the report.

Lalime was not injured, but his vehicle struck multiple trees. An area resident called police upon hearing the accident, the report states.

The Joker is the archrival of comic book superhero Batman. Lalime was dressed as the character at a Halloween party in Old Town, according to the report.

Lalime, who was cooperative, was brought to Somerset County Jail after his arrest.
