Judith Ann Stevens

MILO – Judith Ann (Brewer) Stevens, born May 4, 1935, the daughter of Charles and Avis Brewer passed away peacefully at home Oct. 15, 2013, surrounded by her family.

Her family was her life! She is survived by Fay, her husband of 60 years; her children, Hope, Kim, Kent, and Chucky; and their spouses, Chuck, Debbie, Ruth, and Joi; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her dearest friend and chosen sister in life, Esther.

Summers spent at the lake with her family and friends created many treasured memories that have encompassed her life and many others.

Judith lived by the belief of seeing a need and filling it. She often said “Twenty dollars doesn’t seem like much, but you never know what it might mean to someone else.” She was never wanting recognition or needing credit for her kindness or gifts.

She lived her life compassionately doing for others. She will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and follower of Jesus.

Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Methodist Church in Milo. In lieu of flowers, please, see a need in your community and fill it with a random act of kindness. Buy someone’s lunch, coffee, groceries, donate to a food cupboard or some other item without the need for recognition or a pat on the back. If you must be acknowledged, simply sign your gift: Love, Judith.
