AREA — The Farsnworth Art Museum in Rockland, in support of federal workers, will offer furloughed federal employees free admission to the museum and Wyeth Center throughout the current federal government shutdown. The admission price of $12, $10 seniors over 65, will be waived to any furloughed employee with proof of federal employment. Admission to the museum is free at all times to all children 16 and under.

Digital Photography Workshop
BANGOR — A Digital Photography Workshop will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 and 23, at the University of Maine Museum of Art, 40 Harlow St.
Brian Monahan of Monahan Design will conduct the classes, which are geared to beginner and intermediate photographers.
The cost is $65 museum members, $75 others

ORONO — University of Maine School of Performing Arts dance students will present Emerging Dance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Minsky Recital Hall, Class of 1944 Hall, at the university. The performance will highlight works in progress and feature a variety of dance styles and student choreography.
