MADAWASKA – Laurette A. Gagnon, 72, passed away Sept. 23, 2013, unexpectedly at her residence. She was born March 26, 1941, in Green River, New Brunswick, daughter of the late Felix and Rose (Martin) Therrien.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Campbell and her husband, Mark, of San Francisco; three sons, Danny and his wife, Sandy, of Burlington, Conn., Ken and his wife, Laurie, of St. Agatha, and Scott and his wife, Christina, of Frenchville; four grandchildren, Rowdy, Nicole, Riley, and Jazmine; one brother, Roger and his wife, Gemma Therrien, of St. Basile; six sisters, Rita Stone and her husband, Fred, of Connecticut, Murielle LaQuerre and her husband, Remi, of Montreal, Ginette Ouellette and her husband, Joel, of St. David, Solange Lavoie and her husband, Aurele, of Green River, N.B., Guilda Therrien of LaPocatiere, and Denise and her companion, Joel Dionne, of Green River, N.B.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald “Boy” Gagnon; two sons, Steven and Brian; and one sister, Dorilda Labelle.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Burial will take place immediately following the service at St. Thomas Cemetery.
