Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Stanziola

KINGMAN – Elizabeth “Betty” Stanziola, 88, wife of the late Thomas Stanziola, passed away Sept. 18, 2013, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born May 3, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Charles and Mary (Weston) Droster.

Betty was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and had served as a lector there.

She is survived by two daughters, Bettyann and Bill McDonough of Long Island, N.Y., and Teri and Joe Farinaro of Kingman; a son, Thomas and Jane Stanziola of Queens, N.Y.; a sister, Theresa and Stephen Comando of Kingman; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Becker.

Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, at St. James Catholic Church, with the Rev. Myles Cyr presiding. Interment will be at Kingman Cemetery.
