PLYMOUTH – Roger Alan Crocker Sr., 56, died Sept. 18, 2013, due to an accident at his residence. He was born Jan. 11, 1957, in Rumford, a son of James and Nancy (Harris) Crocker.
Roger was an avid outdoorsman. He loved working in the woods, especially with horses. He enjoyed helping others. Whether they asked for his help or not, he was there.
In addition to his parents of Exeter, he is survived by two loving sons, Roger Crocker Jr. of Unity and Richard and wife, Taylor Prescott, of Plymouth; five brothers, Ricky and Lori of Charleston, Ronnie and Wonda of Exeter, Rodney and Colleen of Pittsfield, Rusty of Dexter, and Raymond and Wannita of Corinna; two sisters and their husbands, Carol and Kenny Kimball of Exeter and Karen and Chuck Libby of Parkman; two grandchildren, Kevin and Devin; and many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Roger. He also leaves behind Jake Crocker, Jordan, and Sonny whom he considered to be his children; and three great friends, Frank Duffy and his companion, Terri, and David Pike. Roger was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at the Exeter Community Center, formerly the Exeter Elementary School. Friends may call 1 p.m. until the time of services.
