LEBANON, Maine — A vehicle rolled over on Lower Guinea Road on Wednesday night, according to officials.

Lebanon Rescue Assistant Chief Jason Cole said the vehicle apparently hit a tree, rolled onto its roof and came to rest in the road.

The driver, whose identity was not available, apparently fled the scene between the time the accident occurred and when rescue workers arrived, Cole said.

Nobody was in the vehicle when crews got to the scene, Cole said.

The vehicle was totaled in the accident, which is under further investigation by state police, according to Cole.
