William Leslie Jr.

ELLSWORTH – William Leslie Jr., 72, passed away Sept. 13, 2013, at his home. He was the son of William and Kathryn Leslie Shurtleff.
He served in the U.S. Army. He worked for more than 48 years in the automotive parts business. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, camping, gardening, collecting eagles and anything patriotic. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 207, an honorary member of the Senator Hale Hose Company, Ellsworth, and a Maine Troop Greeter at Bangor International Airport.
Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley; sisters, Barbara Finkle of Phoenix, and Francine Brown and husband, Jim, of Averill Park, N.Y.; brother, John Shurtleff of Averill Park, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Kathryn; stepfather, Frank Shurtleff; and brother, Charles Leslie.
At his request there will be no funeral services.
