WARREN, Maine — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the second burglary at the same residential garage in five months.

The garage on North Pond Road was broken into during the past week and about $2,500 in tools have been reported stolen, Sheriff Donna Dennison said. The items reported stolen include a portable red Craftsman tool box, two 5-gallon metal red gas tanks with yellow spouts, and numerous Craftsman wrenches and hand tools.

In April, about $400 worth of metal objects including 12 mushroom-shaped anchors, approximately 50 window sash weights, miscellaneous sign brackets and mower blades were reported stolen.

The latest burglary was reported Wednesday morning.
