The flag flies high in Levant

On the 12th anniversary of 9/11, the American flag flies from a utility pole near Minerva Grange No. 383 in Levant. That town, like some other municipalities in the lower Penobscot Valley (including Hampden and Winterport), places an American flag on every other utility pole in its downtown district.
