KENNEBUNK, Maine — Three men were arrested on Wednesday for their roles in a drug distribution operation, according to police.

Walker Donovan, 24 and Cyrus Gould, 32, both of Kennebunk, and Christian Ness, 42 of Wells are all facing felony charges, according to Chief Deputy William King of the York County Sheriff’s Office.

Police launched an investigation after receiving information of a possible multiple-drug distribution organization being operated out of a Kennebunk residence, according to King.

York County Sheriff’s Office deputies contacted Kennebunk police, and the two agencies, along with federal drug agents, launched an investigation.

The efforts led to the arrests of the three men on Thursday, King said. Donovan and Gould are accused of unlawful trafficking of a Schedule W drug, a Class B felony, while Ness is facing a charge of unlawful possession of a Schedule W drug, King said.

The following items were seized from the Kennebunk residence after the men were arrested: Eight ounces of cocaine with a street value of $12,000; 40 grams of heroin worth $8,000, 100 oxycodone and 50 other unidentified pills, 12 rifles, two handguns, $10,000 cash in suspected drug transactions, drug paraphernalia and various ledger books.

Gould and Ness are being held at the York County Jail while Donovan was able to post $1,000 bail. The men are due in court Nov. 6.
