SKOWHEGAN, Maine — A Fairfield man who allegedly entered a residence and used knives to threaten people inside was one of 18 people indicted by a Somerset County grand jury on Friday.
Three of the names were not released by the district attorney’s office.
Roland David Grose, 53, entered a home on Crane Drive on July 10 with a knife in each hand, said Fairfield police Detective Sgt. Kingston Paul.
“He threatened to slice them up,” Paul said on July 11. The altercation arose “from a dispute earlier in the evening.”
The arresting officer said Grose was intoxicated when he made the threats, said Paul. Police received the call at 9:40 p.m.
Grose was initially charged with aggravated reckless conduct, but was indicted on a charge of criminal threatening with a weapon.

Jason A. Savage, 22, Skowhegan, trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine, violating conditions of release.
Christy L. Newell, 33, Skowhegan, theft.
Eddie D. Deberry, 34, Skowhegan, violating sex offender registry.
Tracy A. Wright, 53, Livermore Falls, three counts violating conditions of release.
James I. Taylor, 35, Norridgewock, eluding an officer, passing a roadblock, driving to endanger, criminal speeding.
Peter Glenn Wing, 51, Palmyra, domestic violence assault, assault on an officer, domestic violence criminal threatening.
Justin B. Adams, 19, Madison, domestic violence assault, obstructing report of a crime, violating conditions of release.
Daniel R. Leary, 22, Pittsfield, domestic violence assault, violating conditions of release, obstructing report of a crime.
Michael K. Luce, 49, Solon, domestic violence assault.
Pamela R. Everett, 53, Norridgewock, trafficking prison contraband.
