BANGOR, Maine — A woman who is no stranger to area police is back behind bars after she was picked up on a drug warrant Thursday.

Elizabeth Mikotowicz, 26, of Bangor was located in the parking lot of Manna Ministries on Main Street shortly before 4 p.m., according to Bangor police Sgt. Kevin MacLaren.

Mikotowicz had a federal warrant for a charge of conspiracy to possess a controlled substance with intent to distribute, the sergeant said.

Bangor police were aided by Maine Drug Enforcement Agency officers in locating Mikotowicz. She was taken into custody and brought to Penobscot County Jail without incident, MacLaren said.

In July 2011, Mikotowicz was among four people arrested as Brewer police and drug agents raided a Brewer motel, according to BDN archives.

In that case, Mikotowicz was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs, sale and use of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of cocaine.

Mikotowicz remains locked up Friday.
