Man arrested after allegedly punching female family member at Bangor Dunkin’ Donuts

By Ryan McLaughlin, BDN Staff

BANGOR, Maine — Police arrested a New Brunswick man early Sunday morning, Sept. 1, after an altercation with a female family member at Dunkin’ Donuts on Main Street.

Donald Dow, 43, and the woman were hanging out in the parking lot when an argument led to him punching her, according to Bangor police Lt. Paul Edwards.

A witness observed the assault and contacted police, Edwards said. It wasn’t clear whether the two had attended the Luke Bryan concert at Darling’s Waterfront Pavillion Saturday evening.

Dow was charged with assault and brought to Penobscot County Jail.
