BREWER, Maine — The Brewer High School varsity football game against Brunswick is the featured event for the kickoff of Brewer Days, “A Hometown Celebration” that begins Friday evening and runs through Sunday.
Tailgating before the big game between the Witches and Dragons is something people look forward to every year, especially since representatives from Brewer Youth Hockey always host a family barbecue, Ken Hanscom, director of the Brewer Parks and Recreation Department, which puts on the event, said Wednesday.
“The Brewer Parks & Recreation Department is looking forward to this year’s Brewer Days community celebration with a wide variety of events that includes food, fun and fireworks,” he said. “With a weather forecast that calls for sunny skies and comfortable temperatures, we invite the greater Brewer community to join in the fun.”
