Biddeford pastor, wife killed in weekend crash in NH

BIDDEFORD, Maine — An accident on a New Hampshire highway left a Biddeford pastor and his wife dead, Portland’s WGME 13 reports.

The Rev. Joel McLain and his wife, Maxine, were killed Saturday in Barrington, N.H., when the driver of a pickup truck crossed the center line. McLain had been pastor at Victory Chapel in Biddeford for 31 years.

The 77-year-old pastor was driving back with his wife of one year from Beulah Fellowship Family Campground in Canterbury, N.H. McLain was there leading services for a weekend convention.
