Lisbon police break up underage drinking party, charge 17 with liquor violations

LISBON, Maine — Two people were arrested and 15 others charged following what police say was an underage drinking party Aug. 21 on Crest Avenue.

Acting on an anonymous tip, Lisbon police discovered the party just before 11 p.m., according to a release issued Wednesday by the Lisbon Police Department.

Officers arrested Zachary M. Childs, 21, of Oxford and charged him with misdemeanor furnishing liquor to a minor. They also arrested 18-year-old Elyssa Hubert of Lisbon, who was charged with misdemeanor allowing a minor to possess or consume alcohol and consumption of liquor by a minor.

Both were taken to the Androscoggin County Jail and given court dates of Oct. 9, according to the release.

Jodie E. Day, 19, of Brunswick, was issued a summons on charges of consumption of liquor by a minor, furnishing liquor to a minor and allowing a minor to possess or consume liquor.

Summonsed for consumption of liquor by a minor were: Andrew Gamache, 18, of Lisbon; Tyler Dery Jr., 19, of Auburn; David A. Torres, 19, of Lisbon; Hope Michaud, 18, of Harrison; Nicholas Collins, 18, of Lisbon Falls; Nicholas Collins, 18, of Lisbon Falls; Elliot Manocal, 18, of Lisbon; Kaine M.H. Petrencik, 20, of Lisbon; and Matthew B. Call, 19, of Lisbon.

Five juveniles will be referred to a juvenile community corrections worker to face possible court action, according to the police release.
