MILFORD, Maine — Game wardens are investigating an all-terrain vehicle accident that sent a Milford man to the hospital early Tuesday.

Alexander Deck, 18, was riding along the French Settlement Road around 2 a.m. when his ATV rolled over into a ditch, according to Maine Department of Fisheries and Wildlife spokesman Doug Rafferty.

A witness and Deck’s girlfriend arrived at the scene at the same time and took the victim to St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor. He later was transferred to Eastern Maine Medical Center after he was found unresponsive at St. Joe’s, Rafferty said.

Deck had no injuries relating to the accident, Rafferty said. Details as to what caused Deck to roll his ATV over weren’t available.

The accident remains under investigation.
