Warren couple charged with endangering child

ROCKLAND, Maine — A Warren man and woman are free on bail after police charged them in connection with an assault on a child.

Lexi Mank, 21, and Robert D. Doak, 33, were arrested Friday night by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. Doak was arrested on charges of assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Mank was charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Both were taken to Knox County Jail and released — Doak on $500 cash bail and Mank on $250 cash bail.

Knox County Sheriff Donna Dennison said police had received a report that led them to investigate and charge the couple. She declined to provide additional information on the case.

The 8-year-old child was turned over to the care of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
