HUDSON – Harold Leroy Bryant, 78, husband of the late Marlene (Miles) Bryant, died Aug. 22, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1934, in Bangor, the son of Mary Bryant. He had been employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Maintenance man for the Town of Hudson as well as serving as Constable. He had been a member of the Hudson Grange and the Brewer Eagles Club. Harold enjoyed long rides, hunting, fishing and time with his family.
Surviving are his children, Kirk L Bryant and wife, Ericka, of Vinalhaven, Sylvia M. Page and husband, James, of Corinth, Harold L. Bryant Jr. and wife, Kym, of Pittsfield, N.H., Christine A. Kealiher and husband, Kenneth Jr., of Corinna, Kevin L Sanborn and companion, Rebecca, of Hudson, Tammie L. Tilton and companion, John Wickett, of Corinth, Leroy H. Bryant and wife, Sheila, of Clifton, and Tammy S. Bryant of Bucksport; 24 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a lifelong friend, Carol Robbins. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary; a sister, Gertrude Lawler; an uncle, Errol Bryant; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie L. Williams; and a son-in-law, Michael S. Tilton.
The family wishes to thank Dutch Stevens and the nurses at the Critical Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital for the loving care given to Harold during his illness.
Friends may visit 1-2 p.m. Monday, at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Garnett Chute officiating.
