Body of man found on road in Bowdoin identified

BOWDOIN, Maine — The man whose body was found early Wednesday morning on Adams Road has been identified as David Curtis, 56, of Bowdoin.

Just before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, emergency personnel responded after a Bowdoin man reported finding an unresponsive male in the middle of the roadway.

Deputy Chief Brett Strout of the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that the cause of death has not yet been determined by the state medical examiner’s office. Strout said the death does not appear suspicious. printed on August 20, 2017
