Sheriff’s Department urges Hermon residents to lock vehicles after rash of burglaries

HERMON — There have been several early morning burglaries to vehicles in the Union Street-Billings Road area of Hermon, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday.

Deputy David Quinn encouraged residents to lock their vehicles and to keep valuables out of sight.

The sheriff’s department also is asking residents to call if they see any suspicious activity. Call 945-4636 and ask for Deputy Quinn or Sgt. James Kennedy to report information related to these burglaries.
