ROCKLAND, Maine — A 26-year-old Rockland man who had been free on bail on burglary charges was arrested again Thursday in connection with a break-in at a waterfront business.
Travis Dodge was charged with burglary, theft and violating a condition of bail, according to Rockland police Sgt. Don Finnegan.
Dodge is accused of breaking into J & J Lobster off Front Street in Rockland and stealing money, Finnegan said. Much of the money was recovered, the police sergeant said.
The suspect was taken to the Knox County Jail in Rockland. He was scheduled to make an initial court appearance on the new charge on Friday afternoon in Rockland District Court.
Dodge was free on bail following his arrest in early June in connection with a pair of burglaries. Those cases are pending in court.
