BANGOR and DANFORTH – Earl L. Ross, 60, passed away Aug. 1, 2013, surrounded by family. He was born Jan. 8, 1953, in Bangor, son of Frances Danforth and Robert Ross.
He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. After high school, Earl had a long career in the automotive industry, most recently as a claims adjuster. He enjoyed spending time with family at East Grand Lake and also fishing the area lakes. Earl was always making jokes and loved talking politics.
Earl is survived by his wife, Loree Ross of Danforth; daughter, Rachel Ross of Belfast; stepdaughter, Kelsey Daoust of Danforth; brother, Bill Ross and wife, Sue, of Kenduskeag; sister, Cheryl Whittington of Bangor; sister, Rose Burke of Corinth; sister, Georgia Smith and husband, Tim, of Ellsworth; granddaughters, Raleigh of Bangor and McKayla of Belfast; several nieces and nephews; and great-grandson, Ian.
Relatives and friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. Interment and services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Lakeview Cemetery, Glenburn.
