Police investigating St. Agatha burglary

ST. AGATHA, Maine — Maine State Police said Sunday evening they are investigating a break-in at the St. Agatha Recreation Building.

Sgt. Josh Haines said police believe the burglary took place between 5:30 p.m. July 24 and 8:30 a.m. July 25. Haines said that someone broke into the building and stole items, which he could not elaborate on Sunday.

Video surveillance is being reviewed and some of the items taken have been returned to the town.

The case remains under investigation by Trooper Dan Marquis. Anyone with information about who is responsible for this break-in is encouraged to call the Maine State Police at 532-5400.
