YORK, Maine — Two brothers were arrested Wednesday in connection with an alleged burglary at the Fun-O-Rama arcade at York Beach, according to police.

Joseph Cahill, 25, and his 24-year-old brother Josh, both of York, were taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at their residence, according to a statement from York police.

The alleged burglary occurred on July 22, and an alarm that went off shortly before midnight notified police to the location, the statement said. The rear window was smashed upon officers’ arrival.

Witnesses observed a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser with New Hampshire plates leaving the scene shortly after the alarm went off, according to the statement. Video surveillance helped police identify the Cahill brothers as the suspects.

A search warrant was obtained, and police discovered stolen items found in the vehicle included drug paraphernalia including spoons, needles, pipes and steel wool, the statement said.

The brothers are being held at the York County Jail on a burglary charge, but more charges could be brought on as the investigation continues.
