ARUNDEL, Maine — A man was summoned and a woman arrested early Wednesday after a vehicle was clocked going over 20 MPH over the speed limit on Route 111, police said.

Michael Farrell, 37, of Sanford was heading toward his hometown at 6 a.m. when he was clocked going 66 in a 45, according to Chief Deputy William King of the York County Sheriff’s Office.

A caller had notified police of an erratic vehicle heading westbound toward Sanford, according to King.

Farrell was charged with exceeding the posted speed limit but not arrested, King said. His passenger, Shelli Rollins, 32, of Sanford, had a warrant for failure to pay fines relating to operating after suspension charges and was arrested, King said. She is being held at the York County Jail on $360 bail.
