Paul L. Johnson

ELLSWORTH – Paul L. Johnson, 76, died July 11, 2013, at Golden Acres Boarding Home, Hancock. He was born Dec. 11, 1937, in Ellsworth, son of Waldron H. and Edith (Robinson) Johnson.

Paul served in the U.S. Armed Forces,1955-1958, and was in the Army reserve until 1963. He attended Army engineering school in Virginia and Japan. Paul was employed for many years by Harold MacQuinn, Inc. as a grade foreman, working on state and private road construction projects. He resided on Shore Road in Ellsworth most of his life, and spent the last few years at Golden Acres Boarding Home, Hancock.

He is survived by his two sisters-in-law, Eleanor of Marblehead, Mass., and Ruth of Englewood, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Phillip and Stanley Johnson.
