ROCKLAND, Maine — Thirty three people were indicted this week by a Knox County grand jury, accused of offenses ranging from welfare fraud to drug dealing and assault.
Jeremy R. Dennison, 27, of Rockland, was indicted for aggravated assault, domestic violence assault, and assault stemming from a June 19 incident in Rockland. According to the indictment, Dennison attacked another man with a piece of wood and assaulted two women, including one who was a family member.
Ashley Carleton, 29, of Rockport, was indicted on two counts of felony theft by deception and one count of felony aggravated forgery. Carleton is accused of receiving more than $10,000 in food stamps and MaineCare benefits improperly from January 2008 through September 2012. She also is accused of forging the signature of an employer of her boyfriend, misstating the amount of money that he earned.
Trevor Lamoreau, 46, Bath, was indicted on one count of felony theft by deception and two counts of unsworn falsification. The charges relate to allegations that he improperly received more than $10,000 worth of temporary assistance for needy families benefits and food stamps from December 2007 through May 2011.
The grand jury met for three days this week before the list of indictments was released Thursday. Also indicted were:

Anthony Raye, 28, Rockland, two counts of trafficking in oxycodone in May in Rockland, one count of aggravated trafficking in heroin in May in Thomaston, and trafficking in heroin in Thomaston in May.
Jesse Sawyer, 29, Rockport, possession of hydrocodone.
Jennifer Fetteroli, 36, Warren, two counts of trafficking in oxycodone in January in Warren.
Michael Carver, 34, Rockland, two counts of aggravated trafficking in morphine in January in Rockland.
Harlan Mackenzie 43, Somerville, tampering with a witness or informant in June in Rockland.
Robert Rankin, 23, Rockland, aggravated trafficking in heroin in September in Rockland.
Laurie Ann Davis, 49, Westbrook, trafficking in prison contraband in April in Warren.
Amanda Lynn Davis, 30, Westbrook, trafficking in prison contraband in April in Warren.
Keegan Roma, 21, Westbrook, trafficking in prison contraband in April in Warren.
Ryan Ames, 24, Waldoboro, possession of heroin.
Tiffany Batty, 31, Rockport, possession of synthetic hallucinogenic drugs.
David Reckards, 43, Thomaston, trafficking in synthetic hallucinogenic drugs in November in Thomaston, conspiracy to traffick in synthetic hallucinogenic drugs in March in Rockland, violation of a condition of release.
Frank L. Johnson IV, 30, Cushing, negotiating a worthless instrument.
Matthew E. Shay, 37, Waldoboro, criminal operating under the influence, aggravated operating after habitual offender revocation.

Three other indictments have been sealed for 10 days or less if the suspects are arrested.
